A car has been stolen in Renfrew after the keys were taken from an open window.
Around 3.30am on Thursday 11th February 2016 in Dakota Way, Renfrew a householder was disturbed by the noise of a barking dog and after investigating found the keys from the back door were missing, along with his car keys which were also on the same set of keys.
The keys had been removed as the window beside the door had been left open and his vehicle a silver Seat Leon ’12’ plate motor car was missing.
Police at Johnstone would like to remind members of the public to ensure keys are securely kept out of view and windows are not left open.
