Police are investigating a serious assault at Soar near Intu Braehead shopping centre.
A 20-year-old man was walking into Soar to go snowboarding when he was assaulted by a man who was hanging about outside along with two women.
The suspect left without the women in a black saloon private hire taxi.
The incident happened on Wednesday 16th March 2016 around 6.30pm.
The 20-year-old man was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where he was treated for an eye injury before being allowed home.
The suspect is described as white, mid 20’s and 6ft tall.
He was wearing a black hooded top, black jogging bottoms, black baseball cap and grey training shoes.
Detective Constable Richard Grant at Johnstone CID said: “This would appear to be a totally unprovoked attack which has left the young man with a serious eye injury.
“The area around Braehead was very busy at the time the assault took place and I urge anyone who witnessed the incident who hasn’t already spoken to police to contact us immediately.”
