Over a number of months Police at Johnstone have been receiving reports of stone throwing at moving cars and buses near to Beith Road and surrounding areas of Johnstone.
Hopefully the times, dates and areas listed below may help witnesses come forward or post who they think may be responsible.
The serious of events have occurred over the following dates and times:
- Friday 30/10/2015 1515 Traffic cone thrown North Road
- Sunday 03/01/2016 1850 Stones thrown Corseford Avenue @ train station
- Tuesday 26/01/2016 1615 Stones thrown Quarrelton Road @ Care home
- Tuesday 02/02/2016 1850 Stones thrown Elm Drive shops
- Thursday 11/02/2016 1030 Stones thrown Beith Road @ A1 Motor Stores
- Thursday 11/02/2016 1410 Stones thrown Beith Road @ Craigview Avenue
This issue continues to cause concern and Police at Johnstone are appealing to the Public to assist in identifying the individuals responsible before there is a serious accident.
