Police have raided a flat in Johnstone that has been used to grow Cannabis plants.
The raid took place at around 8 am in Overton Crescent, Johnstone and officers found around 22 plants.
In the afternoon, residents reported seeing a Police Forensics team arrive. A short time later, the plants and buds were removed in cardboard boxes and plastic bags.
The night before, Wednesday evening, officers were walking by when they smelt the plants unique smell. After a noisy around this is when the discovery was made.
The plants have a street value of £22,000.
Four men have been arrested, aged 24, 25, 27 and 28 and have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal. One of the men will also be facing charges related to by-passing the Electric mains.
