The Star Project has opened their Cash for Kids grant sign up sheet for eligible families to help support them with Christmas.
Every year Clyde Cash for Kids charity raise millions of pounds for local children and young people who are suffering from abuse or neglect, who are disabled and have special needs or who simply need extra care or guidance.
In Renfrewshire, the Star Project can award grants. They said: “A Cash for Kids grant is awarded for the purpose of providing a Christmas treat or to meet material need which is felt most acutely at this time of year for children whose families are unable to do so from their own resources.”
Money is donated by listeners of radio station Clyde 1 & 2 who raising money from projects in the local area or take part with on air money raising appeals.
To qualify for a grant your family already has to engage with the Star Project.
