An elderly woman has died after being struck by a car while she was crossing the road in Linwood.
Elizabeth Dunnion who was 85-years-old was crossing Bridge of Weir Road, near to Hart Street, when she was struck by a black coloured Mazda 3 car at around round 5.10pm on Saturday 6th October 2018.
She was taken by ambulance to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley with a serious head injury but unfortunately died from her injuries on Sunday 7th October 2018.
Relatives have been informed and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
The 27-year-old male driver was uninjured.
