There will be a number of temporary road closures in the town centre for Paisley Christmas Lights Switch-on 2018.

The closures begin on Friday 16th November 2018 at 1am and will remain in operation until Sunday 18th November 2018, 8am.
Friday 16th November (closure)
From 1am hours onwards:
- Bridge Street Car Park
Friday 16th November (waiting and loading ban only)
From 6pm onwards:
- Gauze Street, from Lawn Street to High Street
- High Street, from Gauze Street to St Mirren Street
- St Mirren Street, from High Street to Causeyside Street
- Cotton Street, from Bridge Street to Gauze Street
- Lawn Street, from Silk Street to Gauze Street
- Smithhills Street, from Central Way to Gauze Street
Saturday 17th November (waiting and loading ban only)
From 12am onwards:
- Causeyside Street (east side only), from Orchard Street to Johnstone Street
- Johnstone Street (north side only), from Causeyside Street, eastwards for a distance of 15m
Saturday 17th November (road closure)
From 12am onwards:
- Gauze Street, from Lawn Street to The Cross
- St Mirren Street, from High Street to Causeyside Street
- Cotton Street (northbound only), from Gauze Street to Council HQ
- Lawn Street, from Gauze Street to Silk Street
- Smithhills Street, from Central Way to Gauze Street
From 8am onwards:
- County Place, from Moss Street to Gilmour Street
- Gilmour Street, from County Place to High Street
- High Street, from Gilmour Street to New Street
- Abbey Close
From 11pm until 3pm:
- New Street, from Witherspoon Street to High Street
- Weighhouse Close
