Two cars have been stolen from two separate unsecured homes in the same street in Johnstone.
The thefts happened overnight on Thursday in Duncraig Crescent but fortunately both cars were recovered.
The first vehicle, a Seat Ibiza was recovered in Main Road, Elderslie and the second, a Vauxhall Corsa was in found in Greenend Avenue, Johnstone.
Residents have been urged by Police Scotland to ensure that properties are secured overnight.
