A bus worker has died in hospital after suffering serious head and leg injuries while at work.
The 43-year-old man sustained the injures at McGill’s Buses’ Cochranemill Road yard in Johnstone at around 12.30am on Friday morning.
A Police Scotland spokesman, said: “At around 12.50am, police were called to reports of a 43-year-old man being seriously injured at Cochranemill Road yard.
“He was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition and died a short time later.
“The Health and Safety Executive have been informed and enquiries are ongoing.”
