Police are appealing for information after two truck cabs and a van were set on fire in Paisley on Monday.
Extensive damage was caused worth around six figures.
Officers are investigating after a number of people travelling in a dark coloured vehicle, at around 10.20pm on Monday, stopped on Abercorn Street in Paisley outside of a business premises, broke the lock to a yard and set fire to a Mercedes low-loader cab.
They then set fire to anouther Mercedes cab and a Ford Transit van that was parked on the street before making off in the same vehicle.
Officers are currently carrying out CCTV enquiries and speaking to those in the local area.
Detective Constable Dass, Paisley CID, said:“This was a targeted and dangerous attack causing a six figure sum of damage. Fireraising is an incredibly reckless act and it will not be tolerated.
“We are appealing for anyone who was within the area last night who may have information that can help us identify those responsible.
“Think back, did you see this dark coloured vehicle, or could you have dash-cam footage that can help us?“We would also ask anybody who may have seen anyone filling up a jerry can at a petrol station nearby on Monday to also get in touch.”
