The Bowfield Hotel and Country Club have released an artist’s impression of their outdoor hydrotherapy spa. This latest addition to the Howwood-based venue, secures its place as one of the country’s top exclusive retreats.
Work has already started on the installation at a cost of £150k. The estimated opening date is 4th April 2019.
The country retreat is part of the Manorview Hotels & Leisure Group who have invested a total of £4million on the venue’s redevelopment. This has included the Plumpy Duck Restaurant, Stables Bar, gym refurbishment, external beer garden, and a new spa.
Walk through the hotel’s AURA Spa and you’ll find the hydrotherapy spa located in a quiet secluded outdoor area, offering breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and countryside.
This top-of-the-range hydrotherapy spa is mosaic-tiled to a swimming pool standard. Nine people can comfortably relax inside. It will be surrounded by LED-lit decking and will be covered with a solid oak pavilion, and a stunning Italian Masiero Chandelier will hang from the overhead canopy.
Trees have been planted which will enclose the hydrotherapy spa area, while located at the front will be decking and furniture. Visitors can enjoy the hot bubbling Jacuzzi water with a glass of fizz or wrap up in a bath robe to enjoy lunch, or afternoon tea, while taking in the views and the feeling of total escapism.
As well as the addition of the hydrotherapy spa, the hotel’s function rooms have also had a make-over. Couples have already started booking the space after falling for the relaxed, intimate country wedding feel which can be seen in the painted brickwork and solid wooden rafters. Another bonus is the venue’s 22 rooms which can easily accommodate large numbers of guests wanting to stay over.
The Bowfield Hotel & Country Club has something for everyone. It’s a breakaway from the hustle of the city, but only a short drive from Glasgow Airport. There’s an exquisite restaurant, welcoming bar, state-of-the-art gym, children’s play area, relaxing spa, swimming pool, beautiful function rooms – and now an outdoor hydrotherapy spa – all set in a beautiful countryside location.
Anthony Cowley, Property Development Director for the Manorview Group said: “The Bowfield Hotel is our countryside retreat. In 10 minutes, you’re away from the city and soaking up the views from a secluded outdoor hydrotherapy spa. It’s the perfect escape.”
