Paisley Police are appealing for information following a break-in at a house in Balgonie Woods, Paisley.
A 2013 Silver Honda Civic with a registration number ending in EUA was stolen along with several other personal belongings from the victims home. The break-in happened between 10pm on Sunday 3rd March and 6.30am on the Monday 4th March 2019.
The thief was able to locate the keys for the vehicle within the house before stealing it.
Inspector Tracy Harkins, said: “I am appealing for any resident who may have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area to come forward. This type of crime is usually committed by opportunists looking for easy pickings so I would like to remind residents to ensure the security of their home by locking all doors and accessible windows to prevent this kind of theft.
“It is also a good idea to conceal your car/house keys before going to bed for the evening.
