Confirmed so far, we have:
MCLEANS GIN
Born in 2017 in the cupboard of a Battlefield tenement flat, McLean’s Gin now produce 6 quirky, colourful expressions (and the odd one-off) from their new purpose built “Gin Lab” on the outskirts of Strathaven in South Lanarkshire.
MCGIN
At the heart of McGin is our pride in being Glaswegian. The gin is made to a very high standard and has 8 botanicals: juniper, rosehip, blackberry leaf, angelica root, lemon peel, orange peel, coriander and liquorice. The resulting taste is subtle, and the combination of botanicals allows McGin to be manipulated to a consumer’s personal taste.
ELLIS GIN
Ellis gin is a small batch Scottish gin carefully crafted in Glasgow. Mixed with handpicked botanicals and macerated to create beautiful colours.
HAZELL AND HAZELL
Hazell & Hazell is the award – winning gin brand from Bardowie Loch, near Glasgow.
Inspired by the beautiful setting of Bardowie Loch, Alison and Mark Hazell set to work hand picking the most appealing and unique combination of local ingredients to put into a gin which would best represent the area
BIGGAR GIN
Biggar gin is a family business started and owned by two brothers.
It is the result of their small batch philosophy; a combination of tradition and innovation and a sense of place.
ILLICIT SPIRITS
The name is both a nod to the Illicit distillers of old, who have inspired the choice of still, and a reference to the fact they are hidden away in an arch under the tracks leading south from Glasgow central. Their focus is on applying traditional methods to produce modern, unique and innovative spirits.
There will be a few stalls sampling their homemade produce including Slaped Chilli Jam, who will be sampling their homemade chilli jams in a variety of flavours.
Tickets costs £10 and include a welcome gin with a mixer of your choice and tasting notes, any additional gin and mixer will be charged at £4 on the day.
