A young woman has been assaulted while walking her dog in Paisley on Friday night.

The 17-year-old, who was the victim of an alleged unprovoked assault, was walking her dog when she was approached by two females.

They hit her on the face and pulled her to the ground by her hair.

The two female suspects were part of a larger group of youths and are described as being around 17-years-old. One was wearing a red crop top and grey hoody, the other was wearing a mustard coloured top.

The attack happened at around 8.30pm on Friday 12th April 2019 at Carlile Place, Paisley.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed this incident or who has information regarding the two suspects to contact them on telephone number 101.
