Quarriers, one of Scotland’s leading social care charities, has won the accolade for ‘Best Recruitment Campaign’ at the 2019 s1jobs Recruitment Awards.
The social care charity’s award-winning ‘Care to Join Us’ campaign launched in August 2018 and was constructed around Quarriers’ central mission to help individuals reach their full potential.
The digital campaign created a new recruitment identity for Quarriers by shining a light on the people employed by the charity, explaining why they love to work in the care sector. The focus was on engaging potential candidates by showcasing how employees transform the lives of people supported, as well as the skills and values required to flourish as a support worker.
By targeting local areas where the charity was actively recruiting, the campaign – designed by Maguires – was able to reach a relevant audience.
Alice Harper, Chief Executive of Quarriers said: “This is a fantastic achievement for Quarriers and we are thrilled to be recognised as having the most effective recruitment campaign of the year at the s1jobs Recruitment Awards, particularly given the calibre of entries we were up against.
“Our ‘Care to Join Us’ campaign was a completely new approach to recruitment and it has really delivered in terms of helping us uncover new talent to transform the lives of the people we support.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our staff for their tireless efforts day in and day out to provide the best service possible to the families and individuals we help.”
The s1jobs Recruitment Awards recognise excellence in creativity, effectiveness and business success across the entire spectrum of recruitment and are judged by both a panel and s1job’s 800,000 candidate base. The awards ceremony was held at DoubleTree by Hilton, Glasgow on Thursday 11 April 2019.
