

Woman arrested for theft in Renfrew after she was caught rummaging around inside a car

A woman has been arrested in Renfrew after Police officers caught her rummaging around the glove box of a car she had gained access to.
They were alerted by vigilant members of the public to a female trying car doors on Kenley Road, Renfrew at around 4.45am on Saturday morning·
The 35-year-old female was found in a vehicle rummaging around the glove box and was arrested.
She was expected to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court today charged with Theft from a Motor vehicle.
Police Scotland, said: “Did you have anything stolen from a vehicle in this area Friday night into Saturday morning? If so call 101 and let us know – quote incident 0784 of the 5th.”
