The Scottish Refugee Council are hosting an event this weekend that celebrates diversity and the cultural richness that refugees bring to the area.
As well as short speeches from local councillors, the South West Regional Gathering will showcase the musical talent refugees and asylum seekers bring to Scotland, with musical performances from Musicians in Exile as well as local musician Liam Clark.
The event will be held tomorrow, Saturday 19th October from 11am to 3pm at the University of the West of Scotland, High Street, Paisley, PA1 2BE.
