This year’s Paisley & District University of the Third Age (U3A) AGM on Thursday is going to be magic.

Members will see amazing tricks and illusions performed by ‘Magic Ian’. His show follows the AGM business and election of new office bearers.

There will be plenty of excitement in the Salvation Army Hall in Mill Street, Paisley ahead of his performance as the winners of this U3A’s first photography competition will also be revealed.

The AGM starts at 2.15pm, with tea and coffee served from 1.30pm.

U3A chair, Kathleen O’Donnell said: “It’s only our second year and over 100 members have taken up new interests and are learning in a fun-filled way. We expect to go from strength to strength because U3As are a great community resource for older people.”
