The Manorview Hotels & Leisure Group was a winner at the Scottish Licensed Trade News Awards (SLTN).

At a glittering ceremony held in Glasgow’s Hilton Hotel, the Group, owners of the Bowfield Hotel & Country Club in Howwood and Lynnhurst Hotel in Johnstone took home the Independent Multiple Operator of the Year Award.

They beat off strong competition in the category which also included The McGinty’s Group and PB Devco.

This is the third time the Group have won this award, they were previous winners in 2013, and 2015.

The Manorview Hotels & Leisure Group was formed in 2007 with the purchase of The Commercial Hotel in Wishaw, Lanarkshire. The Group’s portfolio now includes eight venues, two pubs, two nightclubs, a leisure club and luxury spa. With a strong focus on people, the company employs a workforce of over 500.

The Group have placed a strong focus on their people and culture and over the past three years have introduced a variety of initiatives which place people at the heart of their operation. These include their HeartCount Profit Share Fund, with HeartCount celebration days, dedicated team ‘listening sessions’, long service dinner, an interactive employee app called IRIS which connects the whole workforce, in-house training and regular feedback and surveys.
