Detectives have released an image of a man they want to speak to following a firearms incident in Paisley that took place in 2018.

Officers have released a CCTV image of a man they believe may have information that can assist them with their enquiries and would appeal to any members of the public who recognise him to contact them.

The firearms incident occurred on Sunday 9th September 2018 within Shuttle Street, Paisley.

The man is described as white, around 5ft 8-10 inches in height, of slim build and short dark hair. He is shown in the image wearing a dark hooded top with his hood up, light blue “VOI” denim jeans with the letters “V” on both rear jean pockets and light blue trainers with a white sole. He is also carrying a large dark rucksack.

Detective Constable Brian Seggie, from Greenock CID, said: “We would appeal to anyone who recognises the man in the images to please get in touch as it is vital that we speak to them. Anyone with information is asked to call CID officers in Paisley via 101, quoting incident number 885 of 9 September 2018.

“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where details can be given in confidence.”
