The emergency services are currently attending to a fire in Well Street, Paisley.

The alarm was raised at around 10.30pm tonight after fire and smoke was spotted coming from the roof of a building at the corner of Clavering Street and Well Street.

The fire appears to have been extinguished, however the fire service remains at the scene.

Three fire appliances attended the blaze as well as Police Scotland.

Renfrewshire News has contacted Scottish Fire & Rescue Service and Police Scotland for comment.
