Class A drugs have been seized from an address in the Foxbar area of Paisley.

The raid happened on Thursday and a 30-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with a drugs offence.

Class A drugs with a street value of approximately £4000 and £12000 in cash were seized.

The pair are expected to appear in court at a later date.

PC Gary Wilkie of the Violence Reduction Unit said: “Disrupting the supply of illegal drugs in the Renfrewshire area remains a priority to protect the public and bring those who disregard the safety of others for their own personal gain to justice.
