Detectives in Renfrewshire have released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a serious assault which occurred in Paisley in June 2023.
A 27 year old man was assaulted in Gilmour Street, Paisley, and later needed hospital treatment for his injuries on Sunday, 25th June, 2023 at around 12.30am.
Officers are looking to trace the man in the image as they believe he may be able to assist with their enquiries.
The man is described as white, with dark hair. He was wearing a black hooded top, black shorts and black trainers. He was also carrying a drawstring bag.
Detective Constable Kate Wason said: “We would appeal to anyone who recognises the man in the image to please get in touch as it is vital that we speak to him.
“Anyone with information is asked to call CID officers in Paisley via 101, quoting incident number 1956 of 25 June, 2023. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where details can be given in confidence.”
