Fifa president Gianni Infantino made a surprise visit to the SMISA stadium on Saturday where he watched St Mirren beat Aberdeen – in dramatic style.

The Italian is in Scotland to attend an International Football Association Board (Ifab) meeting in Loch Lomond. Ifab is the body responsible for rule changes.

Infantino watched the Saints come from one goal behind to score two goals at the end of the match.

In the 6th minute of added time, St Mirren was awarded a penalty and Mark O’Hara stepped up to take the penalty, scored and sent the home fans wild with delight.

Aberdeen restarted the game and pushed for a winning goal, however, they lost possession and St Mirren counter-attacked. Toyosi Olusanya found himself free in the six yards box and turned a header from Mandron high into the Aberdeen net.
