BC Technologies has merged with Business i.T Specialists Ltd, expanding its operations to include offices in Linwood and Motherwell.

The merger adds seven staff to the IT services business, with no redundancies. BC Technologies now employs around 30 people across four locations.

The Dunoon-headquartered company also has an office in Bracknell, Berkshire. It supports customers across the UK and Europe.

Business i.T Specialists was founded by Ross and Emma Toner and supports small and medium-sized businesses. It will now operate as part of BC Technologies’ wider group, with Ross joining as a partner.

Rachel Wallace, Operations Partner at BC Technologies, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Ross, Emma and the team into BC Technologies. This merger is about much more than scale, but about shared values, a strong cultural fit and a joint commitment to delivering exceptional service to our clients.

“Both businesses have built long-standing customer relationships based on trust, responsiveness and going above and beyond. Bringing our teams together allows us to strengthen that offering while opening new opportunities for growth.”

The merger expands the company’s work in IT support, systems development and cyber security.

BC Technologies was founded in 1994. It relocated from London to Dunoon and regularly undertakes international IT migration projects.

Ross Toner added: “merging with BC Technologies was the right move for us because of the strong cultural alignment and shared ambition. We have always focused on building trusted relationships with our clients, and BC Technologies operates in the same way.

“This partnership gives us the platform to grow further while continuing to provide the high level of service our customers expect.”

The company says it is seeing increased demand and is continuing to invest in service delivery, accreditations and systems.
