Johnstone History Society will welcome Rev. Dr Lisa Curtice for a talk on the Irish influence on Scottish Episcopal identity on Tuesday 13th October.

The talk, titled “Irish Influence on Scottish Episcopal Identity: The story of St. John’s Church in Johnstone”, is the second meeting of the society’s 2026/27 season.

It will be held at the Masonic Hall, Collier Street, Johnstone. Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.

All are welcome. Admission is free for members and £2 for visitors.

Membership for the 2026/27 session costs £10. This includes entry to all eight talks and the social evening in May.

Subscriptions can be paid at the museum or at any of the meetings.
