Handbag stolen from a car in Erskine on Sunday

Police Scotland are appealing for information after a handbag was stolen from a car parked in a layby on Boden Boo, Erskine on Sunday.

The theft of a bag containing a 68-year-old woman’s purse and personal effects were stolen from a silver Skoda Enyaqhappened between 12pm and 1pm.

Constable Steven Kirkwood said: “Boden Boo can be busy with people walking their dogs and I would ask anyone who witnessed this theft, or saw anything suspicious, to contact police via 101 quoting incident number 1483 of 5th January.”
