A serial rapist who claimed his need for sex was to help a “medical condition” has been jailed for 14 years.

Marcin Wasilewski was today sentenced for a horror campaign of abuse that spanned from 2009 to 2018.

The crimes against two traumatised victims occurred in Paisley, Renfrewshire.

Jurors heard how he pretended to one victim that he had a “medical condition that was alleviated by sexual intercourse.”

The 43-year-old was also violent with this woman and threatened her.

He raped the victim as she sobbed while ignoring her pleas for him to stop.

Wasilewski also preyed on her while she was asleep.

The earlier woman also suffered a similar ordeal.

Wasilewski told her it was her “duty” to have sex with him.

He also hid cameras under covers and inside the wardrobe to capture sexual contact with the woman, as well as taking photos of her in “various states of undress” when she was asleep.

Wasilewski was convicted of a total of 10 charges, including repeatedly raping both women.

As well as the jail term, Judge Lord Armstrong today at the High Court in Glasgow also ordered that the attacker be supervised for a further five years upon his release.

He was put on the sex offenders list indefinitely.
