Drugs estimated to be worth up to £115,000 have been recovered following a police operation in Paisley.
Police Scotland officers attended a premises on Montgomery Road on Thursday, 30th October 2025, where a significant quantity of Class B drugs was seized.
A 50-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with the recovery. A report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal, and he appeared at Paisley Sheriff Court on Friday, 31st October 2025.
Chief Inspector Iain Farmer of Renfrewshire said: “The detection of illicit drugs continues to be a priority for our local teams and we are committed to deterring those responsible.
“This substantial seizure provides confidence in the community of our dedication within the local areas. Drug misuse brings blight within our communities and we work alongside partner agencies to create a safer environment for our community to live, work and visit.
