Police are appealing for help to trace a 69-year-old man who has been reported missing from Bridge of Weir.
Police Scotland said George Brown was last seen in the High Street area of Johnstone at around 5.55pm on Saturday, 17th January, 2026.
Following enquiries, officers believe George may have travelled to the west end of Glasgow.
George is described as being around 6ft 1in tall, of slim build, with balding grey or white hair. When he was last seen, he was wearing an olive green long puffer jacket, blue jeans and tan desert boots.
Inspector David Cameron said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to trace George as soon as possible and we are growing concerned for his welfare.
“I would appeal to anyone who may have seen George or who has any information on his whereabouts to please contact us.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting reference 2367 of 17th January, 2026.”
