A man was taken to hospital after being struck by a car during a disturbance in Renfrew.
Emergency services were called to Birmingham Road at the junction with Barclay Square at around 1.20pm on Tuesday 16th June 2026.
The 37-year-old was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1.20pm on Tuesday, 16 June, 2026 police were called to a report of a disturbance on Birmingham Road at the junction with Barclay Square, Renfrew.
“Emergency services attended and a 37-year-old man, who was struck by a car during the incident, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
“A 31-year-old man has been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.”
