An artisan market featuring 40 stalls selling handmade goods and food will be held at Johnstone Town Hall later this month.

The market will take place on Saturday, 18th July, from 11am to 4pm, and is free to enter.

Visitors will be able to browse a range of handcrafted products made by independent businesses, many of them based locally.

Items on sale will include apothecary products, art, candles and home fragrance, ceramics, children’s clothing and accessories, dried flowers, embroidery, glass art, interior decoration, jewellery, photography, stationery, textiles, vintage items and woodcraft.

There will also be a selection of food and drink, including freshly baked cakes, breads, sweet and savoury pastries, loaded brownies, handmade chocolates and loose tea blends.

The event will also feature a pop-up florist selling arrangements made with flowers grown in an Ayrshire garden, along with a tarot reader offering readings.

Organisers say the market is free to enter, has free parking and is located in Johnstone town centre.
