A third person has been arrested and charged in connection with the attempted murder of a man in Paisley.
Police Scotland said the latest arrest follows an incident on George Street at around 8pm on Monday, 13th July, 2026, when officers received a report of a man having been seriously injured following a disturbance.
The 53-year-old was taken to hospital, where his condition is described as serious but stable.
A 21-year-old man has now been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.
He is due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Friday, 17th July, 2026.
Earlier this week, an 18-year-old woman and a 19-year-old man were also arrested and charged in connection with the incident. They were due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 15th July.
Police Scotland said enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
