Police are continuing enquiries to trace missing 16-year-old Safdar Hanif after he was sighted in Paisley.
Safdar is missing from Edinburgh and has also been seen on a bus in Glasgow city centre.
Police have released a new image of him getting on a number 900 bus in Glasgow city centre at around 9.30pm on Friday 24th July 2026.
He was also seen in the Glenbrittle Street area of Paisley on Monday 27th July 2026.
Police said it is possible Safdar has travelled back to Edinburgh. Despite the sightings, his family remains very concerned and wants him home safe and well.
Chief Inspector Scott Kennedy said: “I would ask anyone who may have seen Safdar to contact us.
“You may hold a valuable piece of information which could assist us in locating Safdar and getting him home.
“We continue to speak with Safdar’s family, friends and associates and I would ask anyone with information about his whereabouts to please call us.”
