Children across Renfrewshire are being invited to design their dream celebration cake as part of a new competition run by Cake Box.
The Little Bakers Awards 2026 is open to children aged four to 11, with the winning design set to be made into a real cake by the company’s bakers.
Youngsters can collect a Little Bakers design sheet from the Cake Box store in Paisley or download one from the Cake Box website.
They can then draw and decorate their dream cake before returning the completed design to their local Cake Box store by 31st August 2026.
The overall winner will have their design transformed into a real Cake Box cake. They will also take part in a cake decorating experience, meet the team and receive a party bundle to enjoy with friends and family.
The winner will be announced in September alongside five regional runners-up representing Scotland, Ireland, Wales, the Midlands and England.
The runners-up will also receive a party bundle.
Sukh Chamdal, Cake Box’s CEO, said: “Some of the best cake ideas come from children, because they are never afraid to be bold, colourful or completely unexpected. We want our Little Bakers to let their imaginations run wild and create the cake they would most love to see in a Cake Box window.
“We cannot wait to see the designs that come through the Paisley Cake Box doors and bring one talented young baker’s creation to life.”
Cake Box has more than 290 stores across the UK and specialises in handmade, fresh cream egg-free cakes. Their paisley store can be found at 27 Causeyside Street, Paisley.
