Scotland TranServ will be resurfacing 1.3km of the M8 at Arkleston, both East and Westbound commencing on Saturday 11th of November.

The project will be running from 8pm on Saturday 11th until Saturday 18th November (eastbound) and then 8pm on Saturday 18th until Saturday 25th November westbound.

In order to reduce the impact on local commuters and freight traffic, the project team will implement narrowed lanes on the works during the day, with the motorway reduced to one lane in each direction overnight.

This will minimise the overall disruption caused to complete the works by keeping three lanes in operation throughout the day.

Scotland TranServ said: “Motorists may notice the site being established from Monday the 6th of November to facilitate the required traffic management. ”
