Two men will appear in court today after they stole an expensive car from a street in Johnstone.The two men, a 38-year-old and a 48-year-old, were arrested in Beith by traffic officers after they stole a white Mercedes C-Class car and threatened a man in Poplar Avenue in the Johnstone Castle area of Johnstone at around 8.30pm on Tuesday night.
The men are due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court.
Inspector Cassie Glass, from Johnstone Police, said: “It is suspected that the parties were known to each other. Two men will appear at court over a number of alleged offences.”
