Johnstone Phoenix Theatre Group has appointed Iain Usher as its new president.
The amateur theatre group confirmed the appointment following its annual general meeting on Wednesday 26th August.
Iain takes over from outgoing president Carol McLaughlan.
The group thanked Carol for the time, care and commitment she gave during her time in the role.
A new committee is now in place, with rehearsals for the group’s production of The Wee Mermaid due to begin.
Johnstone Phoenix Theatre Group is a Scottish registered charity which provides affordable theatre for the local community in Johnstone and the sorounding areas.
