A 41-year-old man has been arrested following the death of a 33-year-old named by Police as local woman Grace Kissell.
Officers discovered a woman’s body after neighbours raised the alarm on Thursday afternoon.
Residents near the flat said they had reported hearing shouts coming from a flat
Police said the body was found around 2.30pm on Thursday in Cowal Drive, Linwood.
A police spokeswoman said a post-mortem examination would be carried out to establish the cause of death and is being treated as “suspicious”.
A 41-year-old man will appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday.
