Police in Paisley have seized paraphernalia associated with drugs use in an operation targeting the use of cannabis by school children, teenagers and students.
Up to £1,400 worth of bongs, water pipes and grinders were seized from two shops in Paisley.

Community Inspector, Stuart Thomson said “This operation is part of a wider crackdown on the low level misuse of drugs in and around the town centre.
“And while these articles are not drug, they are an integral part of drug-taking.
“It is important that we recognise they represent a gateway to drugs and criminality for children in our community because they are seen as ‘pocket money toys’.”
Three people have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with the Police operation.
