A man has been hit over the head with a bottle in a park in Linwood.
The attack happened around 3.30pm on Sunday, 30th August 2015 as the 26-year-old victim walked through Cowal Park alone.
Someone came behind the man and smashed a bottle over his head.
Following the attack he was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley after suffering from lacerations to his head and neck.
Police have confirmed that they are following a positive line of enquiry in regards to finding the person responsible for the attack.
