A teenager is in a critical condition in hospital after being attacked in Paisley.
Around 9.50pm on Saturday night (Sat 1st July 2017) a 19-year-old man was assaulted on Seedhill Road and was rushed to hospital, where his condition has been described as critical by Police.
The street was closed off and Police have confirmed the attack is being treated as an attempted murder.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were called to Seedhill Road in Paisley at 9.50pm to reports that a man had been assaulted. Emergency services attended and a 19-year-old man was taken to hospital.
“This is being treated as attempted murder.”
