A woman has been permanently scarred after being hit over the head with a glass bottle.
The attack on a 30-year-old woman happened in a flat in Williamsburgh Court, Paisley at around 1am on Saturday morning after a row with a man.
She was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital and was treated by doctors who used glue to seal and close the wound.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested and will appear at Paisley Sherrif Court.
