A 23-year-old man has been knifed in broad daylight during a disturbance at his front door.
The slashing happened at Kintyre Avenue, Linwood around 9.15am on Wednesday 27th September 2017.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward who may have seen two men who, aged between 25 and 35, in the area at the time of the attack.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A man was seriously assaulted in Kintyre Avenue, in Linwood, at 9.15am on Wednesday morning.
“If anyone saw two men, aged between 25 and 35, in the area, we would urge them to come forward to police.
