Underwood clean up jan 13th 2018 (7)

Underwood Lane residents all be it in small numbers took to the streets in support of Renfrewshire Councils drive to clean up our inner cities and surrounding areas.

With the usual trash carelessly and fly tipped around the streets blighting the residents views. The locals decided to join forces and brave the cold and rain to bring some respect back to their little part of the Paisley here in west end.

One area under the rail bridge which has always been a dumping ground for as long as I can remember and a place for people to drink, graffiti and dump trash.

Someone had fly tipped a broken glass window frame under the footpath rail bridge which was not only dangerous for small children, but for those passing through the dark unlit bridge at night…

Fingers crossed this selfless act will inspire others to take care when disposing of their waste and make Renfrewshire a better place to live and grow up in..
