You would be forgiven for thinking it was a Sunday or even Christmas day in Paisley this afternoon as most of the shops were closed.
The closure comes as a result of a Red Weather Warning issued by the Met Office as a large amount of snow fell across Renfrewshire.
As you can see by our photographs, the sun was shining not long after the warning was lifted.
Renfrewshire Council has announced that all schools and nurseries will remain closed tomorrow (Friday) and an amber warning has been put in place until 10am tomorrow morning.
