Local residents and members of Ferguslie Park Community Council had a huge job on their hands when they took part in a Clean Up at Glen Coats Park, Oakridge Crescent, Paisley.
Have you ever tried to fight back the ever-encroaching weeds in your garden, times it by 100, then try keeping on top of this huge non-funded project with only basic tools.
Though, it didn’t stop the determination of these volunteer residents had when it came to making their part of Paisley sparkle.
If you’re a superstore or business with unsold stock or tools you no longer need, please think about all these community action groups, like this one, out there struggling to get the job done who would be happy to take them off your hands.
Cllr Kenny MacLaren SNP, Paisley Northwest, said: “It’s great to see the local community coming together to help clean up Glen coats park.
“The Team Up to Clean Up campaign has been a great success, with lots of local residents and groups coming together to make Renfrewshire a better place to live in.
“Well done to everyone who has taken part in this, and all the other, clean ups.”
