The family of a missing 12-year-old girl have appealed for help to find her after she was last seen in the Milliken Park area of Johnstone.

Amelia Dasiewicz’s family say she left home at 5pm on Tuesday, 29th September.

They last heard from her when she sent a message at 8.30am the following day.

Her mother launched an appeal on social media at around 7pm on Wednesday, 30th September. Amelia had been missing for more than 24 hours at that point.

Her family say her phone has since been switched off and they have been unable to reach her.

Amelia has long, fair hair, described by her family as blonde with a ginger tint. She wears distinctive red-framed glasses.

She was last seen wearing a black jumper, black flared leggings and grey Adidas Campus shoes. She was also carrying a black handbag.

Her family say Police Scotland are aware that Amelia is missing and are searching for her.

Anyone who has seen Amelia or has information about her whereabouts is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident reference 3801 of 29th September 2026.
