Paisley Southwest Councillor Stephen Burns is encouraging groups within Renfrewshire to look at the Development Grants programme to see if they could benefit from it.
Development Grants are available to help community-led organisations to scope out a potential climate action project.
The Development Funding accepts applications up to five hundred pounds from constituted groups to develop climate change projects that will reduce carbon and help shape their local environment.
Councillor Burns, said. “Sometimes even a small amount can make a tremendous difference to local groups.
“The Grants Programme next round of funding has a deadline of 14th June 2019, and I would encourage as many local groups as possible to go online and see if the can access the funding.
