A local councillor has praised Renfrewshire Council environmental staff on how well the Bonnie Wee Well looks after a recent clean up.
MacDonald’s Fountain, a memorial to the poet Hugh MacDonald is also known locally as the Bonnie Wee Well on the Gleniffer Braes wasn’t looking its best after a harsh Scottish winter.
After a request from Councillor Stephen Burns the well was recently cleaned up.
Councillor Stephen Burns, SNP Paisley Southwest, said: “This Well reflects many years of history and is visited with tourists regular.
“It’s looking so Bonnie again.”
